I wanted to make a special contribution for the holidays and these hoops were part of that idea. Back when I was living in Maui I looked for an organization that was focused on the most overlooked kids during the holidays which are mostly teens in foster care. I found this great Arizona Nonprofit called Love Bags. They make gift bags and host events to aid children in need, including those rescued from trafficking, foster Care, and those living in shelters.
To commemorate this, I created a few custom pieces including these gold and turquoise hoop earrings. I made them with removable turquoise charms to give the recipient something that could be worn every day like a simple gold hoop, or spice things up with a removable turquoise charm since I knew how popular it was in the area.
